Cedar Deck - Arbor - Stairs

This was a tiled patio above a three car garage. The previous tiled floor leaked and the customer wanted to add planters, and arbor and a large set of stairs leading off the rear side. This photo shows part of the waterproffing that was installed.

Most of the cedar deck and railing have been laid in this picture. The railing will be reinstalled and two new cedar screen doors will be built to separate the deck from the screened porch.

Large 6x6 posts are set for the stairs.

The arbor is shown in this picture. Planters are to built in the large open area for the customer to have a garden.

The project was completed in 2006 but this photo was taken in 2009 to show the result of growth. The project scope with the necessary removal of the existing porch, building the new deck, planters, stairs, and arbor costs around $43,000.
